Graduate Diploma in Maori Medicine

The newly approved by NZQA Graduate Diploma in Maori Medicine (GDipMM – Level 7, 120 credits) is a programme of study with an emphasis on applied learning and employment within the health sector. It consists of a combination of taught and practice-based components in a collaborative learning environment. The GDipMM is designed for people who have completed the BNatMed and who want to specialise in Maori medicine, as well as for those who have a degree in a related field but who wish to specialise in Maori medicine. The GDipMM aims to advance the skills and knowledge of those practitioners already in working contexts or who may wish to further advance their careers in natural medicine.
