Working While Studying

From January 2014, all students enrolling full time on campus in our Bachelor of Medicine (or any other  NZ qualification Level 7 or higher) will be able to  work full time during all vacation breaks.

While you are studying (ie during teaching weeks) you may be able to work up to 20 hours a week.

Before you start work, you will need to apply for a variation on your student visa. Visit the Immigration NZ Study Work website for information about working in New Zealand while on a student visa.
