Aqua graduated with high distinction after completing a 4-year course in naturopathy in 1992, in what was Australia’s leading college of naturopathy. She has been in continual practice since then and has worked in private clinic, women’s health centre, pharmacy and health retreats. Aqua has a keen interest in the links between non-medical health approaches and how they are filling gaps in health care, especially for diverse peoples who experience health disparities. In addition to a number of publications, She has presented original research at national and international conferences. Aqua began teaching at naturopathic colleges in 2004 and continues to enjoy student-centred teaching. She has taught into a nursing degree, and taught naturopathy, counselling, community services, and research subjects. She is currently Lecturer-in-Charge of Global Health at an Australian university.
